We Love Houston!

The Texas Child Care Administrator’s Conference is on! We hope you and your staff will join us to show our support for each other and for this great city. The conference schedule will be adapted to incorporate a session on hurricane response and the longer-term impacts.

We look forward to celebrating the resilience of Houston in October at the annual Texas Child Care Administrators Conference!

Please mark your calendars and make plans to join hundreds of your colleagues in Houston for the 2017 Texas Child Care Administrators Conference!

We are delighted and honored to welcome the First Lady of Texas, Cecilia Abbott, District 134 Representative Sarah Davis, and Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner as our special guests at the conference this year!

Our conference program offers something for everyone in the field of caring for children and working with families. The program will include valuable information and expert training on the ever-changing Texas system with relevant workshops presented by experts in the field. We continue to offer 15 hours of pre-approved continuing education for licensed child care administrators in Texas.

Our conference theme, Building Communities of Care, reinforces what we all know and cherish – we are the village that supports families. Building Communities of Care recognizes that Texas’ provider network, in partnership with local communities and state agencies, is leading the way to improve the quality of services and ensure a better future for children and families in every community in Texas.

This year’s conference will broaden our knowledge and keep us focused on the future. We are planning a program that features relevant and current issues – such as a general session entirely focused on child sex trafficking.

Please join us on October 16-18 in the great city of Houston. We hope to see you there!
