Alliance Caucus Info

Texas Alliance of Child and Family Services invites members to attend  industry-specific caucuses. These caucuses promote networking among like agencies and professionals, as well as TACFS staff, and give members an opportunity to discuss common issues and concerns. The Alliance caucus groups are open to all members.

Adoption Caucus

Adoption Caucus members meet to discuss the current issues in adoption, including best practice information, new regulations, national legislation, promising research, and more. 

Foster Care Caucus

The Foster Care Caucus focuses on clarifying the new licensing standards, foster care capacity issues, DFPS Council updates, interpreting legislation related to child placing agencies, and the health care initiative for foster care kids. 

Residential Treatment Caucus

Members of the Residential Treatment Caucus meet to discuss the latest update from the DFPS Council, legislative updates, healthcare for foster care kids, reducing restraints, foster care capacity issues, and licensing and regulation updates.
