Join us as TACFS kicks off year two of our Strategy, Training, and Research Consortium (STaRC) on Tuesday March 26th at Lifeworks. We had a great first year of STaRC learning how to understand and better utilize outputs and outcomes. Using your excellent feedback, we decided to focus year two of STaRC on strategic planning. This year at STaRC you’ll hear about the cutting edge info you need to effectively plan, strategies on how to create/implement strategic plans, and real world examples from TACFS members. In March we start with three excellent presentations from:

  • Dr. Dorothy Mandell - Assistant Professor, UT Health Science Center on her team’s work to create zip code level maltreatment risk maps that show you how to target your organization’s resources in the areas that need us the most
  • Dr. Corrine Walijarvi - Vice President of Child Welfare Services and Strategic Planning at DePelchin Children's Center on where to begin your strategic planning process
  • Danielle Owens, BBA, MBA, MPT - Chief Program Officer at Lifeworks on a real life example of how Lifeworks has integrated strategic planning into the foundation of its entire organization.

View the agenda here. STaRC is free and open to all TACFS members. We've included a nominal fee for lunch.

Can’t wait to see you in March!!
