We want to let you know about a special event happening in Beaumont on May 16th. The Texas Center for Child and Family Studies alongside Rebuild Texas has been and is continuing to provide trainings throughout Hurricane Harvey affected areas on organizational resiliency. These trainings have already received incredibly positive feedback, and are designed to help organizations serving vulnerable children prepare for future disasters and focus on building resilience within oneself, within an organization, and coping with leadership fatigue. This training is free of cost and lunch will be provided to attendees. Attendees will receive 2 SW or LPC CEU hours upon completion of the training.
We will cap the attendance for the training at fifty attendees and ask that you invite your employees who are at a director level and above (individuals who supervise staff) to sign-up as soon as possible. As an added bonus, we will be raffling off a $750 fund that the winning organization at this training can spend on any emergency preparedness supplies for their organization.
This training on May 16th is a special event, where in addition to the training we will be hosting a Golden Triangle Dedication.
Join us as we gather with community leaders, child welfare stakeholders, and experts in resilience to honor the community efforts that occurred before, during, and after Hurricane Harvey and pay tribute to community organizations and individuals who serve children and families every day!

Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you at the event!
Please let us know if you require special any accommodations prior to the training (i.e., diet/food, audio and/or visual needs, etc.). Thank you!
